The mission of the International Women in Biomechanics (IWB) group is to foster an environment for women and underrepresented genders in biomechanics to gain support, visibility, and allyship.

 

We are a community of over 700 biomechanists from over 300 universities and organizations across 33 countries.  Our community ranges in career stages and professions and interacts through a forum-style platform, teleconference meetings, and social media.
