If you would like to join our community, please create an account and complete the membership forms. Our membership runs on a calendar year and is offered at three levels, including a discounted rate for students and trainees:

  • Professional Members (10 USD)

  • Trainee Members (5 USD)

  • Supporter/Ally Members (5 USD)

We maintain online forums for our community to network internationally, find collaborators, ask questions, and share advice and resources.

Professional Development

We host regular teleconference meetings and workshops that provide resources and professional training for our community. We also collaborate with international biomechanics societies on “Women in Science” events.

Advancing Equity

We offer resources and education for the entire biomechanics community on addressing bias and advocating for gender equity. We also work with other affinity groups to address intersectional biases and promote fair and accessible programs across biomechanics societies.

To elevate the visibility and recognition of women’s work in biomechanics, we facilitate nominations for professional society awards, spotlight members through social media and communications, and offer a public directory of women in science to support collaborations, speaking invitations, and recognition opportunities.
