Sydney Garrah is a Biomechanical Engineer with a passion for human movement and the technologies that help us understand it. She holds a Master’s degree in Biomechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, where she focused on developing accessible motion capture solutions to support research in developing nations. Sydney is also deeply engaged in the global biomechanics community. She enjoys traveling to international conferences, where she connects with researchers, shares insights, and stays at the forefront of emerging trends in the field. Her work bridges academic research and applied innovation, with a particular interest in data visualization, gait analysis, and making biomechanical tools more usable and impactful across disciplines. In her free time, Sydney enjoys reading, hiking, and taking way too many pictures of her cats!
