Hi, I'm Eva Maddox! I'm a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Exercise Science at Old Dominion University, where I teach gross anatomy, biomechanics, and a range of other courses to students pursuing careers in physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, and strength coaching. I hold a Ph.D. in Biomechanics, and my research sits at two intersections I find endlessly fascinating: sports and strength training biomechanics, and how AI can support learning in exercise science education. I love finding ways to make complex content click for students, whether that's in the cadaver lab or the weight room. I'm thrilled to be joining the IWB community and contributing to the newsletter, and I look forward to connecting with everyone!
