Amelia Bruce Leicht completed her PhD in Sports Medicine at the University of Virginia and is now an Assistant Professor in the Sports Medicine Research Institute (SMRI) at the University of Kentucky (USA). She works on a variety of projects investigating innovative rehabilitation strategies and return-to-activity assessments in patients suffering from chronic ankle instability (CAI). Her research interests encompass functional performance, neuromuscular, cortical activity, and psychological changes following ligamentous injuries. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and German shorthaired pointer, going to concerts, and exploring new restaurants.
